Stacker cranes for pallets

The need to maximise the surface area in warehouses has led to the development of stacker cranes, designed to work in very narrow aisles and at heights above 30 metres.

Their vertical and horizontal speed and their automated operation triple the capacity of pallet extraction and handling.

The stacker cranes are guided by a profile fitted on the racks above the crane and by a rail anchored to the floor.

These type of warehouses can be built using double or single depth racks. The warehouses with double-deep racks offer the possibility of two levels of depth in each racking location maximising box storage capacity.

Advantages:
- Automation of the entry and exit operations of products
- Eliminates manual management mistakes.
- Controls and updates the inventory.
- A management software manages and governs all the operations which take place in the warehouse.
