Agribusiness group Canagri boosts efficiency by upgrading its software with Easy WMS

Canagri: Over 20 years of experience

Canagri (Can Agri Rydziński Sp.k.) is a Polish distributor of products for animal breeding and care. Its catalogue includes a wide range of solutions for livestock farming, pets, equestrian needs and pest control. Founded in 2000, Canagri has 3 production plants and 3,500 m² of storage surface area.

Canagri, a family-owned company with over 20 years of experience distributing products for the agricultural, pet and equine sectors, has modernised its logistics operations with Mecalux technology. Operating in both B2B and B2C channels, the organisation works with more than 2,500 business partners across Poland. To support its continued growth, Canagri has implemented the Easy WMS warehouse management system in its 3,500 m² facility in Małopole (Mazowieckie) to optimise operations and boost efficiency.

Canagri’s rapid growth, its ever-expanding product catalogue and the opening of new retail locations had pushed its previous WMS software to its limits. The company required a solution that could handle more complex logistics processes and ensure full traceability for over 20,000 SKUs.

“We had already identified the areas with room for improvement and knew exactly what we needed: a new software solution that was scalable, flexible and capable of evolving with us,” says Patryk Doliński, IT Manager at Canagri.

Following a thorough technical analysis, Canagri chose Easy WMS for its advanced functionalities and Mecalux’s proven expertise in complex logistics designs. The tech project was carried out in two phases. The first involved defining and documenting all logistics processes. The second focused on implementing the WMS, with validations at each stage and staff training. “Our collaboration with Mecalux has been a complete success. They designed a custom solution that fits our logistics needs perfectly,” says Jacek Rydziński, CEO of Canagri.

Switching systems called for a carefully managed transition, as employees were used to a different tool. However, the integration process was faster than expected. “After the training, our team quickly got comfortable with the new interface. Now, we work faster and more confidently,” says Artur Walaśkiewicz, Warehouse Manager.

Automating the shipping process

One of the key aspects of the project was streamlining outbound operations. To achieve this, Canagri implemented the Multi-Carrier Shipping Software module, which connects Easy WMS with the distribution agencies responsible for delivering goods to customers. This solution enables the company to generate labels, automatically issue shipment notifications and prepare transport documents all from a single system, without needing to access external platforms.

With this technology, Canagri now handles 3,500 orders per month with greater speed, accuracy and full traceability. “Integrating with the carriers has been a game-changer. We fulfil more orders in less time and with fewer errors,” says Marta Gręda, Distribution and Logistics Manager.
